TDP demands govt to order inquiry into misuse of funds

Hyderabad, Jun 22 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded the government to order inquiry into the ''misuse'' of Rs 80 crore in the laying of 26 km road at Krishnapatnam port on National Highway 5.

Addressing the press here, top official spokesperson and MP M Y Mysoora Reddy pointed out that the two-lane road was turned into four-lane and Rs 86 crore were ''misused'' in its construction.

MS Krishnapatnam Port company limited and some Congress leaders have ''misutilised'' the money, he charged.

Mr Reddy accused Congress leaders and Ministers of being involved in corruption practices.
