Tiger killed in southwest Bangladesh
Dhaka, Jun 21 (UNI) A tiger was beaten to death after it killed three villagers, including a woman, at south Kadamtala village in Bangladesh's southwest Satkhira district today.
The man-eater entered the village from Sundarbans forest after crossing Chunkuri river last night. It killed three villagers and ate five goats, local sources said.
Forest guards, police, paramilitary BDR and local people equipped with sharp weapons attacked and beat the tiger to death, sources added.
