Hardcore criminal's property over 50 lakh seized in UP

Varanasi, Jun 20 (UNI) Police today seized a hardcore criminal's bank accounts and property worth several lakh here.

A team of police reached at the resident of Murlidhar Yadav in Narayanpur village in Chaubepur area and seized a banquet hall, underconstruction school and two plots in the name of the criminal, SP Sridhar Mishra said.

Besides, police also sealed his rural and cooperative bank accounts, he added.

Murlidhar was also booked under Ganster Act and was the main accused in Manish abduction case here.

His property was estimated at over 50 lakh.
