'Tantrik', woman aide arrested

New Delhi, Jun 19 (UNI) Swooping down on people out to fleece the gullible in the city, police have arrested a 'tantrik' and his woman associate from Shastri Nagar in north Delhi for duping several people.

Asfaq (44) and his receptionist Vishakha were arrested yesterday from their first floor 'office' after a decoy customer was sent to solve his problem through 'tantra', the police said.

During interrogation Asfaq revealed that he was into the 'trade' for the last one-and-a-half year and would change his 'business' address after every two-three months.

He would charge innocent people for curing their personal problems despite having no qualification or training to indulge in 'tantra'.
