CTU warns striking employees of stern action

Chandigarh, Jun 16 (UNI) Terming the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) workers ongoing strike "unjustified and illegal", CTU today asked the striking employees to join their duties immediately failing which stern disciplinary action will be taken against them.

According to a notice issued today, the strike period has been declared to be governed by the principle of 'No Work No Pay'.

"With this strike a lot of hardship is being caused to the general public. Therefore, all the employees of CTU who are on strike have been advised to join their duties immediately," the notice stated.
