3 killed, 7 injured after army truck skids off road

Dehra Dun, Jun 16 (UNI) Three Army personnel were killed and seven injured when the truck they were travelling in skidded off the road near Joshimud here.

The accident occurred around 0945 hrs yesterday.

According to rescue officials, the accident occured after the Army truck veered off the road near Joshimud while giving way to a van behind it.

Today, one of the injured was taken to Srinagar, in Pauri district of Garhwal, and admitted to a local hospital.

However, others remained in a local hospital in Joshimud where their condition was being monitored.
