Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi bags IMOTY Award 2008

Mumbai, Jun 14 (UNI) Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi has bagged the inaugural 'Indian Motorcycle Of The Year (IMOTY) award 2008'.

The award, instituted by JK Tyre&Industries Limited, to felicitate excellence in auto industry was judged by senior motoring journalists from leading automobile magazines in India.

In a release issued here today, JK Tyre&Industries Limited Director (Marketing) A S Mehta said Pulsar 220 is India's first high-performance sports bike to feature fuel injection, apart from other technical innovations.

The Pulsar 220 has well and truly redefined the performance biking space in the country and raised the bar many notches higher, he added.

Mr Mehta said, ''At JK tyre, it has always been our endeavor to associate and award the excellence in auto industry -- be it motorsport or a class product.
