Unichem receives US FDA's final approval for Zaleplon Capsules
Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) Unichem Laboratories Limited has received final approval from United States Food&Drug Administration (FDA), for Zaleplon Capsules.
A generic equivalent of Kings Pharmaceuticals' Sonata Capsules, Zaleplon is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia.
Unichem received the approval immediately on expiry of patent on the Capsule, the Company informed BSE.
The Company intends to launch the product in US Market shortly.
