One falls to death, five injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 9 (UNI) One person died and five were injured in different accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

One Ghulam Hassan Lone was killed after he slipped and fell down in the woods at Gundi Gujran in border town of Karnah, the sources said. Lone died before he could be shifted to hospital, they added.

A woman named Zuhra was injured when she was hit by a motorcycle at Daresh Kadal in the down town city after which she was hospitalised. The sources said four people were injured in another road accident at Cheeni Gund Verinag in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. The injured were admitted to district hospital.

In another incidenrt, fire in the Electric Division of PDD at Reshipora Zainapora in Pulwama destroyed records and office room.

The cause of the fire was not known, they said.
