Punjab Cong observers for Municipal Committee polls

Chandigarh, Jun 8 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) has appointed its Working President Mohinder Singh Kaypee, the overall in charge of the Municipal Committee polls in the state to be held on June 30.

This announcement was made by PPCC general secretary Rajpal Singh here today.

In addition, PPCC president Rajinder Kaur Bhattal has appointed poll observers of the candidate selection committees for all 20 districts.

The Presidents of District Congress Committees (DCCs) will be conveners of these election committees and MLAs/ Ex-MLAs, District Heads of Frontal Organisations will be members of the respective committees in each district.
