TDP to step up stir along with UNPA, Left parties

Hyderabad, June 7 (UNI) The Telugu Desam Party, a constituent of the United National Progressive Alliance, will step up stir coordinating with the Left parties, till the hike in the prices of petroleum products was fully rolled back by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre.

Urging the Andhra Pradesh Government to come out with a 'white paper' on revenue' generated by way of taxes on petroleum products, party MP R Chandrasekar Reddy told reporters here that the State Government was getting a ''windfall'' everytime the Centre hiked the prices of petroleum products.

The taxes imposed on petroleum products, were the highest in the country, he claimed.

The TDP would not rest till the hefty hike in the prices of petroleum products were fully rolled back, he asserted.
