Yeddyurappa condoles death of Manjunath Kalmani
Bangalore, June 5 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today instructed officials to make arrangements to bring the mortal remains of Software Engineer Manjunath Kalmani, who died in Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, yesterday, to his native place at the State's cost.
Condoling the death of Mr Kalmani, the Chief Minister directed the Karnataka Bhavan authorities in Delhi to arrange for the travel of four persons, including his parents, by air and shifting the body to Bangalore and by road to his native place Hoskere in Koppal district at the State Government's cost.
Thirtythree-year-old Kalmani was sent to India by the US in a critical condition after he met with an accident and had received spinal cord injuries, confining him to bed for the past six years.
He was shifted to India after his visa expired and he was under treatment in Safdarjang Hospital for the last three months.
