ITBP constable killed in Afghanistan, India regrets

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) India today regretted the killing of ITBP constable, Dev Kumar, in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan in which four other personnel -- Ramesh Kumar, Onkar Nath, Sandeep Nath and Pradeep Singh -- were injured.

The injured are receiving medical attention in the road project headquarters, the External Affairs Ministry here said.

''We strongly condemn this latest act of terrorism on a project being executed for the development of Afghanistan. Such acts will not deter us from fulfilling our humanitarian commitments.

''Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the families of the victims of this attack,'' a Ministry spokesman said.
