BSP announces names of 20 more candidates for J
Jammu, Jun 5 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has announced the names of 20 more candidates in their second list for the upcoming Assembly elections and a parliamentary seat in Jammu and Kashmir.
The list of candidates was released by the BSP National General Secretary Narinder Kashyap here yesterday. ''The BSP will contest all the 87 Assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir and will not have electoral tie with any party,'' he said.
The BSP leader said so far candidates for 37 Assembly and three parliamentary seats have been announced and added, ''the party has full faith in the candidates, who have been given the mandate, and we are hopeful of winning maximum seats in the state.'' ''The selection of candidates have been made keeping in view the social engineering formula of Uttar Pradesh,'' Mr Kashyap said.
