Anti-Chinea acts by Tibet refugees will not be allowed:India
Beijing, Jun 5 (UNI) India today assured the Chinese leadership that it will not allow Tibetan refugees to indulge in any political activity against China on its soil.
Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Chi A Chi praised the support received from India during the recent violence in Tibet and also during the Olympic Torch Relay in the country.
Mr Mukherjee apprised the Chinese minister of the precautionary measures by India taken during the torch relay.
According to Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon, Mr Mukherjee told his Chinese counterpart that India had not changed its stand on the Tibet issue and believed that Tibetan refugees have no right to carry out anti-Chinese activities from Indian soil.
According to government sources, the Chinese Foreign Minister said he understood the political set up of India where peaceful demonstrations are a part of democracy.
