Mithi takes oath as Rajya Sabha Member from Arunachal Pradesh
New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) Newly-elected Member of the Rajya Sabha Mukut Mithi was today administered oath by Chairman Mohammad Hamid Ansari at the Parliament House here.
Deputy Chairperson of the Upper House K Rehman Khan and Minister of State for Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Pawan Kumar Bansal besides family members of Mr Mithi were present on the occasion.
Mr Mithi, a former chief minister of Arunachal, has been elected from the lone seat to the Upper House from the state in the biennial elections.
Till recently, he was Lt Governor of Puducherry.
