Rain at many places in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 3 (UNI) Rain occurred at many places in Kerala and at most of the places in Lakshadweep during the past 48 hours.
According to local weather office, Mankompu and Paravoor received the maximum rainfall of six cm each.
The other chief amount of rainfall in cm were received at Kumarakam five, Amini and Varkala four each and Alappuzha, Kottayam and Kochi three each. Rain or thunder showers would occur at most places in the Union Territory and in the state in the next 48 hours, it added.
They warned that strong onshore wind from Westerly direction, with speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph, was likely along off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
