BJP Executive to adopt Political and Economic Resolutions

New Delhi, Jun 2 (UNI) Two resolutions on politics and price rise and NDA Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani's ''marg darshan'' (guidelines)to the party workers would mark the second day deliberations of the BJP National Executive here today.

In the political resolution, the party is likely to outline its strategy and resolve to fight coming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh,Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan and Delhi.

Besides it would also review the party's victories in recent state elections and byelections, particularly in Karnataka, where it successfully formed its first government in the peninsular India.

As outlined by party president Rajnath Singh in his presidential address it would ask the rank and file to fan out to every corner of the country to win the electorate keeping in view not only the coming Assembly elections but also the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.

The resolution would give out the party's stand on various issues, while taking to task the UPA government for the deteriorating national security scenario and deploring the government's appeasement of minorities for political gains.

In the second resolution dealing with economy, price rise and inflation, the party is likely to highlight the UPA's lopsided economic policy for failure to contain prices of even essential commodities resulting in pushing the country towards a food crisis.

The resolution would have reference to unabated suicides by farmers. As per the known party stand on the loan waiver, it would reiterate that the Rs 72,000 crore loan waiver would benefit a small section of debt-trapped farmers.

The Executive would culminate its deliberations with the "margdarshan" by Leader of Opposition L K Advani, a role hitherto played by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
