At least 50 wounded in explosions at a hotel in Dhaka
Dhaka, Jun 1 (UNI) At least 50 people including several foreign nationals were wounded in serial explosions in a residential hotel in the capital tonight.
Police said in the first explosion in a suite at the 7th floor of Hotel Orchid Plaza at about 9 pm local time wounded a Lankan national.
Police, elite RAB personnel and firefighters rushed to the spot when several explosions took place one after another, police said.
The injured, including members of the law-enforcing agencies and firefighters, were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Police could not immediately ascertain about the reason of the explosions.
