Visit visa to UAE to cost ten times more

Dubai, May 31 (UNI) The UAE has steeply hiked the charges for a visit visa from the current 100 dirhams for two months to 500 dirhams for just one month.

The Al Khaleej Arabic reported, quoting a cabinet decision that a long-term visit visa for three months will cost 1000 dirhams.

The tourist visa fees has not gone up and will still be 100 dirhams for a 30-day visit. This visa can be booked only through hotels and travel operators, with proof of stay.

The multiple entry visa will now cost 2,000 dirhams as compared to 1,000 dirhams earlier. The multiple entry visa is valid only for 30 days for each visit.
