IIT-concept school for meritorious poor in AP

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, May 31 (UNI) An IIT-concept school, the first-of-its-kind for meritorious poor students of this city, is being launched from the current academic year under the aegis of Sri Vivekananda Educational Institutions.

Institutions Director B A Sarojini told UNI the admission for the concept school would be strictly on the basis of an entrance test to be held on June four.

The qualifying students would be extended fee concessions based on the marks. Special buses would be operated for the benefit of students residing in suburban areas.
