Father of Maharashtra CM's PRO passes away

Nagpur, May 31 (UNI) Pandurang Wandile, father of Suresh Wandile, the public relations officer (PRO) to Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, died due to old age.

He was 86 and survived by his wife Gunabai, two sons Suresh and Ramesh.

The last rites were performed here yesterday evening.

Mr Wandile, who hailed from Kandali in Hinganghat tehsil in Wardha district of Vidarbha, was a former court employee.

Meanwhile, Mr Deshmukh visited the bereaved family and offered his condolences.

He was accompanied by Guardian Minister for Nagpur district Satish Chaturvedi, Minister for Agriculture Balasaheb Thorat, MLA Nitin Raut, Divisional Commissioner Anand Limaye, District collector Praveen Darade and Resident Deputy Collector Chandrakant Dange.
