Police bursts 7-member gang
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, May 30 (UNI) The district police today here bursted a seven-member notorious gang and recovered Rs 18 lakh, worth gold ornaments including diamonds, from them.
The gang, which hailed from Prakasham District, operated from Andhra Pradesh and also from Karnataka, district Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Reddy said in a press conference.
They committed crime at Srikakulam, Vizinagaram, Chittoor and also at Ballari in Karnataka, he said and added gold ornaments, cell phones and cameras were also recovered from them.
