WR NGO organises blood donation camp

Mumbai, May 28 (UNI) More than 75 commuters and college students donated blood at a one-day Blood Donation camp organised by Western Railways Social Service Group (WRSSG) at Churchgate station here today.

''We are expecting around 225 people to donate their blood, which will be given to the BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai Central,'' organising member Ashok Khatuja told UNI.

WRSSG, an NGO formed by Western Railways employees has been organising blood donation camps since 1997 and this year it is holding the camp in association with the Roteract Club and H R College, Mr Khatuja added.
