Manmohan regime anti-poor: Chhattisgarh CM
Nagri, Chhattisgarh, May 28 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today held the Manmohan Singh Government at the Centre responsible for the galloping inflation and condemned the regime as ''anti-poor''.
''On the one hand, the common man is moaning due to inflationary pressures, on the other hand the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime is making preparations for a massive fuel price hike,'' the Chief Minister said at a meeting here, in Dhamtari district, about 100 km from the state capital, prior to the start of the second phase of a 'Vikas Yatra'.
Pointing out that the prices of iron, cement and gold were sky-rocketing, Dr Singh added that the items of daily use were going out of the common man's reach.
