Three children drowned in Sita river

Mangalore, May 27 (UNI) Three children, including two girls, were drowned in the Sita river in Bramhavar police station limits in the District today.

Police said that the children, who had come from Suratkal, along with their parents to attend a marriage enggement, met watery grave when they slipped while playing near the river.

The deceased were identifed as Soumya, Sumana and Gururaj.
