Neyveli Lignite's net up 1357.1% at Rs 384.68 cr

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd today said it has posted a whopping 1,357.1 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 384.68 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 26.40 crore in the same period previous year.

The total income also hiked 78.6 per cent to Rs 1,013.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 567.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The company's net profit surged 94.3 per cent to Rs 1,101.57 for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 566.78 crore last fiscal.

The total income for Fyo7 surged 34.4 per cent to Rs 3,638.07 crore from Rs 2,705.19 crore for Fyo7.
