Modular Infotech launches shree-Lipi Gurjari 7.1

Ahmedabad, May 27 (UNI) Pune-based Modular InfoTech today released the latest 7.1 version of their flagship product ''Shree-Lipi Gurjari'', specially designed for Gujarati Language.

The Company Chairman Dr M N Cooper told mediapersons that there are many publishing houses, ad-agencies, newspapers which use various typesetting (DTP) packages, like In-Design, Quark, and Shree-Lipi 7.1 will help all users who want to change over to Unicode Format.

He claimed ''Today, no other multi-lingual package offers Indian language fonts in 8 bit TTF / Type1, Extended 16 bit Layout SLX (Unicode Fonts in private user area) and Standard Unicode Formats, besides a large number of utilities including Multi-lingual Spell-checker.

This is a unique Gujarati Language and other Indian Languages package which supports Windows 98 to Windows VISTA and standard 8 bit as well as Unicode fonts. It contains 358 Gujarati fonts along with additional 3100 stylised fonts, he explained.
