Fertiliser subsidy for FY09 at Rs 95,013 cr: Paswan

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Union Minister of Fertilisers and Chemicals Ram Vilas Paswan today said the fertiliser subsidy for the current financial year is seen at Rs 95,013 crore.

Urea import for the period under review is seen at 6.5 million tonne as against 6.9 million tonne, while DAP import is seen at 3.5 million tonne as compared to 2.9 million tonne, the Minister told reporters here.
