Shimla pays tribute to Rajiv Gandhi
Shimla, May 21 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 17th death anniversary at 'Sadbhawana Chowk' at Chhota Shimla today.
Floral tributes were offered at the statue of the late leader by leader of oposition party Vidya Stokes, Municipal Corporation Mayor Narender Katariya, other dignitaries and local people.
Ms Stokes also administered the oath of national unity and integrity on the occasion.
Patriotic and devotional songs were recited by the artists of Information and Public Relations Department on the occasion.
