Thunder showers bring down temperature in Bihar

Patna, May 20(UNI) A smart shower today lashed several parts of north Bihar, including capital Patna, bringing much needed relief to people wilting under severe heat and humidity for the past several days.

Patna received 10 mm rainfall. Other parts of the state also received showers bringing the mercury down considerably.

The local MET office recorded the day's maximum temperature at 32.6 degrees Celsius and minimum at 23 degrees Celsius.

Maximium relative humidity remained at 60 per cent.

The MET office predicted clear sky with possibility of thunder showers later tonight.
