Future Generali launches 'Mallassurance'

Mumbai, May 20 (UNI) Future Generali has launched ''Mallasurance'', total insurance solutions at select malls across the country.

The initiative is aimed at providing consumers the convenience and freedom to choose appropriate and tailored insurance solutions in a format that is readily accessible, the Company said here today.

Future Generali is a joint venture between Italy-based Generali Group and India-based Future Group.

Future Generali CEO Sergio Balbinot said, ''Mallassurance model presents freedom to make choices in a format that is accessible and convenient.'' Insurance penetration is relatively low in India as the existing players cater to a small section of Indians. ''Our initial test-marketing of retailing insurance in the ambience of shopping malls has shown phenomenal results,'' Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani said.
