Time Technoplast to launch special polymer nets

Mumbai, May 19 (UNI) Time Technoplast Ltd (TTL), manufacturer of technology-based polymer products, today announced that the company has proposed to launch a range of warning and safety nets, made of special polymers, for cordoning of construction areas and to provide safety.

Netrix nets, designed in bright orange colour with additional reflector strips, enhance the visibility for pedestrians and motorists at night.

TTL director Raghupathy Thyagarajan said ''One of the unique features of Netrix nets very relevant in today's speedy infrastructure development scenario, is dedicated to human safety and life. They are designed for workers and people's safety during excavation, installation or construction process. These nets are effectively used to barricade at construction sites, bore wells, manholes or used as property delineator.'' He said the company plans to invest of Rs 20 crore for expansion of existing plant unit, situated at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, with production capacity of 20 million tonnes per annum. It expects to double the production next year.

The company has now set up projects overseas -- a 100 per cent subsidiary Elan Incorporated FZE in Sharjah Airport Free Trade Zone, UAE for production of packaging products and lifestyle products. Another a 100 per cent subsidiary Novo Tech Sp Z O O in Kostryzn Slubice Special Economic Zone, Poland for manufacturing of auto components and lifestyle products -- to replicate their busines model, he added.
