Naval official missing in Shillong

Shillong, May 19 (UNI) An Indian Navy officer, along with his wife and daughter, went gone missing on their way from Karimganj in Assam to Shillong.

Officer Pramod Sinha, stationed at Vishakhapattanam of Andhra Pradesh, along with his wife Padmini and 21-year-old daughter Rosy, was scheduled to drop by Mrs Sinha's sister's house in Shillong on May 17 night.

The family boarded a Guwahati-bound bus of Swapna Travels (AS-01 AC 0812) at about 1600 hrs in Karimganj and Mrs Sinha's brother-in-law Sanjay Sinha was waiting at the Civil Hospital junction in the city to receive them. However, when the bus arrived the family was nowhere in sight.

Police have registered a missing case and an investigation was on trace the Naval official and his family.
