Police in K'taka dist threaten poll counting boycott

Bellary, Karnataka, May 18 (UNI) The Bellary District Police have threatened to boycott poll counting on May 25 if the Superintendent of Police, who was transferred recently, was not brought back immediately.

Amrut Pal, the SP incharge, was transferred by the Chief Electoral Officer on charges of dereliction of duty during election, and IGP (Eastern Range) H S Satyanaraya Rao was given additional charge.
