Mine money used for election: Sharad Yadav
Hubli, Karnataka, May 18 (UNI) Janata Dal (United) supremo Sharad Yadav today said it was unfortunate that so much money was flowing in the Assembly elections in Karnataka.
Talking to newsperson here, he alleged that crores of rupees looted from 'national wealth of mines' was being spent on elections by some candidates.
''I want people to accept this money as it belonged to them but should vote for a proper candidate,'' he added.
Praising the action of the Election Commission to stop irregularities in polling, he asked the electorate to bring them to the notice of his party which would alert the Commission.
