Protest follows after 4 wounded in Army firing in Kashmir
Baramulla, May 14 (UNI) People at Yaribugh Rafiabad took to streets to protest the firing by an ambush party of the army in which four civilians were injured early this morning.
Four persons were hurt, when army opened fire after noticing suspicious movement at Yaribugh Rafiabad of the district at 2430 hrs.
After hearing the bullet shots, the villagers came out of their houses and found four people wounded.
The quartet was admitted to hospital, where the condition of one of them stated to be critical.
The mob joined by villagers from the adjoining villages took to streets, disrupting traffic for a couple of hrs.
Demanding action against the security forces responsible for the incident, the demonstrators said the firing was unprovoked.
Senior police and civil officials have rushed to the area.
