13,865 pass CET for PG courses in SVU University: VC
Tirupati, May 14(UNI) 13,865 candidates out of 14,297, who had appeared for the Common Entrance Test(CET) for PG courses in Sri Venkateswara University(SVU) have passed out, according to SVU Vice Chancellor Ratnam here today.
Talking to newspersons here, he said 97 per cent emerged with success, including 43.9 per cent girls and 56 per cent boys.
Scheduled Castes(SC) and Scheduled Tribes(ST) candidates achived 100 per cent success, while 96 per cent of the Backward Castes(BCs) had succeeded.
Mr Ratnam said admission for 16 courses would be made directly on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination owing to non-receipt of sufficient applications.
The CET was conducted from May two to ten at Tirupati, Kadapa and Nellore Centres and the results will be available on -- www.Svudoa.Com,www.Svuniversity.
