Dry weather prevailed over some parts of the State

Bangalore, May 12 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Nanjangud 3 T Narsipura 1.

Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka, above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Generally cloudy.

Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature likely to be around 34 degree celsius.
