Stone crushers protest extortion by militants
Imphal, May 09 (UNI) Stone crushers in Manipur are on indefinite strike to protest extortion by militants.
Stone chips used for construction purposes were not available today due to the stir.
Northern Valley Stone Crushers Owners Welfare Association decided to stop work from yesterday. The members are planning a sit in protest at Imphal on May 12. They appealed to all not to put any monetary demands on them by any organisation.
