Silver jewellery seized

Agra, May 9 (UNI) Police today said they have seized 100 kg silver jewellery from a private travel agency's bus here.

Mobile unit of Trade tax department had got the information that some travel agencies were involved in the illicit business of supplying robbed things from Mathura to other states, they said.

Acting on a tip-off, the department pressed into service some teams for vehicle checking.

Late last night, one quintal silver jewellery was seized inside the bus, proceeding towards Ahemdabad, near Sikri check post.
