Panambur records 7 cm rainfall
Bangalore, May 9 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at many places over South Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Panambur recorded 7 cm rainfall.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): T.Narsipura 5; Mangalore, Mani, Periyapatna 4 each; Puttur, Sravanabelgola, Hunsur, Nanjangud, Channapatna, Bangalore AP 3 each; Mulki, Virajpet, Sargur, Pandavapura, Tiptur 2 each.
Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and remained normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.0 degree celsius over the State.
