MP CM announces award

Indore, May 9 (UNI) A Rs 51,000 award would be given to a person doing noteworthy in the sphere of Malwa region's art, literature and culture.

Making the announcement last evening at the inauguration of the Malwa Utsav here, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that Malwa had carved a niche in every sector.

Folk artists from 12 states and 450 sculptors from across India would exhibit their talent at the festival.
