Dalit Panther holds 'morcha'

Nashik, May 9 (UNI) Activists of the Dalit Panther took out a protest march to press for their various demands here today.

The ''morcha'', led by state unit president of the organisation Nana Bhalerao, commenced from the Golf Club grounds and reached the district collectorate here. A delegation later submitted a memorandum to the Collector.

Strict measures to curb inflation, jobs for the unemployed, land for the landless, reservation in the private sector, waiver of loans taken from various government corporations and 570 sq ft houses for slum dwellers under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) are some of the demands of the organisation.
