Nagpur records a max temp of 42.5 degrees celsius
Nagpur, May 6 (UNI) Intense heat wave conditions continued to persist in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, with Nagpur and Akola today recording a maximum temperature of 42.5 and 42.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
There was some respite from the sweltering heat in Jalgaon district as the mercury dipped to 39.8 degrees, official sources said. So far, four deaths due to sun-stroke have been reported from the district.
People in Nashik experienced further relief with the maximum temperature dropping to 35 degrees celsius.
