Three die, 5 soldier among 12 injured in Kashmir
Srinagar Apr 29 (UNI) Three people were killed and 12 others, including five soldiers and three porters, injured in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said five Army personnel and three porters of 9 Maratha Light Infantry Regiment were injured when their vehicle met with an accident at Zamboor, Pattan, on Srinagar-Baramulla road. The injured were hospitalised.
A vehicle hit and critically wounded one Tariq Ahmad Lone at Bemina on the city outskirts. He was admitted to hospital where he died.
They said one Danish Ahmad Shah, who was injured in a road accident at Zaloora, Badgam, at Zaloora, died in the hospital this morning.
Three students were injured when a school bus turned turtle at Danghi Mohind road in Anantnag. The injured were hospitalised.
Sources said a motorcyclist hit and injured one person at Muqam in Baramulla.
The body of one Mohammad Rafiq Teedwa was fished out at Kangan.
