PSB FY08 net up 74.97% at Rs 382.36 cr
New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) Punjab and Sind Bank today said its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2008 increased 74.97 per cent to Rs 382.36 crore as compared to Rs 218.53 crore in the last fiscal.
The bank said in a statement that it has recorded a steep decline in its Non Performing Assets, with gross NPAs going down to 0.74 per cent and Net NPAs to 0.37 per cent.
The total business of the bank for FY08 has reached Rs 43,240 crore as compared to Rs 31,267 crore last fiscal, the statement added.
