9 killed in AP road accidents
Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) Nine people, including three women, were killed and six injured in separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh today.
Police said five people, including two women were killed when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a bus at Hussainpalem near Machilipatnam.
The autorickshaw was coming from Pedana when the accident occurred.
Two of the deceased were identified as Nagamalleswaramma (44) and Chamundeswari (40).
The bodies were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Machilipatnam for post-mortem.
In another incident, four people, including a woman, were killed on the spot and six injured when a car carrying them hit a stationary bus near Budigaddapalli village of Goruntla mandal in Ananthapur district.
The car was proceeding to Kadiri from Bangalore.
The injured were admitted to Hindupur Government Hospital in the district, the police added.
