Injured Indian model gets free treatment

Dubai, Apr 26 (UNI) A 25-year-old Indian model, who suffered severe burns and injuries in a quad bike crash, has been offered free treatment by a Dubai hospital.

Nirmala had to put her career and studies on hold when the quad bike she was riding crashed, leaving her with third-degree burns on her face, a bruised back and fractured nose. She had come here for a holiday.

After Gulf News reported the psychological trauma that she has been undergoing ever since she suffered the accident, the Board of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital (AACSH), located in the Dubai Healthcare City, contacted Gulf News offered to sponsor the cosmetic treatment for Nirmala in their hospital.

An only child, Nirmala and her widowed mother have been given all the support by her relatives in Dubai.
