Left parties to organize padyatra against price hike
Ranchi, Apr 21 (UNI) The Left parties will jointly organise a padyatra here on April 23 against price rise of essentials.
The parties include the CPI, CPI(M), Forward Bloc and RSP.
Party leaders would also submit a memorandum of demands to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi to take measures to check the trend.
CPI(M) state secretary J S Majumdar said the government should initiate steps to provide relief to the common people.
Mr Majumdar said the memorandum would also demand supply of food items through the public distribution system, immediate ban on future trading, reduction of price of petrol and diesel.
